HELLO!!
I started JestaAriadne's Jellicle Place in 2001 when I was fourteen years old...
Sooo yes :) I'm still a big CATS fan! Little things like University and Post-University-LIFE have kind of got in the way of regular updates of this site though, and I would like to do something about that!!
This site is first of all going to be a collection of really awesome CATS fanfic and fanart. From my early days of CATS obsession on, I was so so inspired and encouraged by some amazing creations and the people that made them... I've always collected fanfics I loved- might have to make more of an effort and get some more art up here!
And secondly, since apparently I can't help it, home to a ton of crazy stuff as it always was :) That's all tidied away in the Miscellaneous section at the moment. I also feel like there's got to be a lot more to do with music, as 1. it's rather integral part of CATS and 2. it's kind of what I do. Also, OF COURSE, there is the one the only the CATS RANDOM PAIRING GENERATOR. yaay.
So. Currently at any rate, yes, the site is a lot smaller than it was, but ... quality rather than quantity?
That said, come on, you're not going to get through sixty hand-picked fanfics in a hurry XD
JA's Jellicle Place isn't really even gone as such. Just... remodeled a bit ^^
But what about the fun stuff??
Ok, ok, I will tell you a secret (you lovely imaginary questioner, you!) ... the old site, um, isn't actually gone in any sense at all. It's over here. In a state of stasis, not going to be updated or added to, but it's all there :) Because apparently I have more webspace than I know what to do with, hahaha.
Anyway... basically I wanted to make the site a little more focused, and easy to update, and... honestly, I was fourteen when I made half of the old stuff! And now I'm twenty-one. And I know there are many very mature fourteen year olds, but... I was never one of them ^^ (I'm not very mature now!)
(Also, as recently as last week I was finding bits of FONT tags all over the place! I mean, they just had to go.)
Anyway. I love all the old stuff too, I think it's hilarious! But I guess I just wanted to keep it separate. Anyway, you've still got most of my old fics! And, hey, maybe I'll make some new fun stuff. Maybe XD

Aiii, aagh, I will try. I really will. I want to! I want to hang out in the current CATS community and get back into things.
I do however also need to do things like work, and work on getting better work (muuuusic writing!)... and... the number one issue in the immediate future: currently no internet in my flat in Bristol. But we're trying to sort that out. We've been trying since October. *falls*
I did the major work on this revamping over my Christmas holiday... Heee. It's been a while since I spent solid days working on a website ^^;;
Where is the Munkustrap pic from?
It is from the 2006 UK Tour brochure - I have scans here. I think it is Dean Maynard who I saw ... a few times ... and who also has the most beautiful, shiver-worthy voice... But if someone could confirm the actor's identity, actually, that would be nice!
I also wanted to tidy this site up, looks-wise... I always have such a big mental struggle about how this site should look! The layout and everything... I'm torn between wanting it to look shiny and impressive and looking like an adorable, obsessive fan's earnest effort... So I really tried to pare it down as much as possible in terms of overall layout, but stick in immature, cute touches :)
The other thing is that I'm really a bit lazy and not that good at coding anyway. I just tend to learn and piece together the bits I need at that very moment, and maybe eventually make sense of it. So, uh, if you're a web developer or coder or anything, I wouldn't advise looking at the source code as it may upset you -- but seriously, it's much better than it ever was! I mean, I'm trying to close my paragraph tags and everything nowadays. See, here I go!
WHY ON EARTH DO YOU HAVE AN IMG CURSOR??
*hides* ......because I wanted one?? I've never had one before! See, I know my top-ten most ridiculous web-devices! .....is it that objectionable? :( I thought it was ... kinda subtle! ...in a really sparkly way ^^
