Confessions of a Criminal
Cat
By Macavity, as confessed to Lina
You mustn't tell a
soul okay, but 'Cavity's not my name
If anyone discovered that, I couldn't bear the shame
It's such a silly name (too true!) that really I can't see
Quite why my parents chose it for a rough-tough boy like me.
My name has been Macavity, ever since I could talk
And if people called me different, I'd attack them with a fork.
I threatened my parents and realtives too
Saying what if they told folks my real name I'd do.
It's more of a name you would give to your teddy
Come here and I'll whisper: My name is Freddy!
