Arrangements (and original works) for 15 or 30 note music box! Some of them pure music box, and I’ve also combined the box with other instruments or voice.

DIY Music boxes: make your own
- 15 note Kikkerland music box kit: The first music box, the 15 note kit, I just happened across in a charity shop — and didn’t use for many years because I didn’t want to commit to using up any of the tapes that came with the box (before I had the very obvious brainwave that you can make/print your own…) It has 2 octaves of a diatonic (white note) major scale.
- 30 Note Music Box kit supplied here by Grand Illusions. This is what I use for the bigger pieces, and the sound is really lovely. It has a much larger range including many chromatic notes. It has a much larger range than 30 notes overall — with less notes at the top and particularly bottom, fully chromatic in the middle, and there’s a key on the website of what notes are available.
- 15 note music box paper to print/hole punch.
- Musicboxmaniacs: I admit I mainly now use this to export or print blank sheets for the 30 note, but you can use this to write in, play back and then print your own music box melodies for a music box.
