Stuck in the middle of evil GCSEs... just GUESS WHAT they played on the music listening paper?? Only MISTER MISTOFFELEES!!!!!! It was all I could do not to burst out giggling & squealing XD The paper wasn't that great... but, ah well, Tugger's sweet strains somewhat sustained me... ^.^

A daydream at night! Well, practically. I was Jemima in the Hungarian performance of CATS (don't ask me why!). I remember feeling kinda nervous - I was obviously both the youngest and probably the least experienced. Hey, nevertheless, they were all very nice, and somehow were just started the show. There didn't seem to be _any_ dancing at all... I wandered around the stage acting like a cat... and then I wasn't sure exactly when to get off the stage. So... I just sort of... improvised. Once I was off stage I tried to get "Demeter's" attention and kept trying to ask her when I supposed to be on and off stage etc, she said... "You'll be fine, just make it up, you're doing great!" Um, encouraging sort of, but not overly useful...
There's more... Apparently, according to my mum (in the dream) I was really just the right size for the part; 5 ft 10!!! (I am NOT, I am more like 5ft5 and a bit!!) And that since Jemima was a kitten, the performer had to be under 5ft12 (???) and she didn't think there'd be too many people under that height (???OK, I knew my whole sense of scale is skewed, but honestly...)
Oh yes! And after the performance, I met Veerle Castelyn (? again, no idea why... guess she just came to watch the show?) And she was just as nice as people say and also told me not to worry about when I was meant to be on stage, just to make it up from what I remembered from the video!!
hmmm...Oh, and also, Demeter seemed to be wearing a long white nightie for most of the time! And I was wearing the blue headscarf that pulls my hair back completely doesn't exactly make me look sweet or anything. But otherwise... I think it was a very successful performance!
*raises eyebrows* Dreams...
We went to London on a school trip today... I've probably been about 10 whole times in my life now! (yey). How on earth do you people who live there manage? For a start, it's so flippin' HUGE!! ...then again I have absolutely no sense of direction whatsoever, and can only just about navigate Oxford.... Anyway, I passed some time spotting all the CATS ads on the back of buses. I lost count of how many, but I was NOT happy that they repeated the discouraging message "Even magical things must come to an end!" No they must not! *sigh* Some people don't know anything!
Oh yeah... and I saw "An Inspector Calls". That would be the point of the trip. It was good, too, though melodramatic in places...
